Soladex’s long-term vision is to make the SPI a household name alongside other metrics like air quality and ultraviolet indexes. It aims to become the de facto unit of measurement for regional & site-specific, ML enabled, PV forecasting. Strategic collaborations with companies like Enphase & Elexity(recent SBIR recipient) would aid mass adoption, and help to ensure accurate data is harnessed for SPI forecasts.

J. Mark Suacci

Mark has 20+ years of contracting experience as a licensed C-10 Electrical Contractor, backing up construction with a California General Contractor (B) Classification. Mark installed the first grid-tie solar PV system for commercial and residential use in 1996, which generates more than 1M kWh per month, making it sustainable with battery storage.

Colin Teahan

A software engineer and data analyst that has worked as a professional software engineer for 8+ years, most notably developing education-based software for Padlet with over 60M active users. He single-handedly developed its mobile application for iOS and Android, which took the company to the top of the iOS App Store chart; it currently sits at 4.6/5 stars. Colin will handle everything tech-related, from the website to the database.
